There are pros and cons to both ways of doing business; dues provide a steady stream of funds (useful for planning purposes and less of a headache-- if people pay-- then begging alms), while donations allow for a less formal, more friendly atmosphere (Ubers don't have to run around like bill collectors, and you don't feel like the servers are just another bill you have to pay.)

For less expensive games and servers, donations work well. Because of the relative inexpensiveness of BF:BC2 as compared to BF2 (~$1 per slot per month as opposed to ~$2-3 per slot per month), we'd like to ask that our members and anyone who enjoys this site, TeamSpeak or our game servers please find it in their hearts (and wallets) to donate to the upkeep of this great community of gamers.

It costs (on average) approximately $650/year to maintain ALL of the services that =[LLC]= offers. We would like to collect enough to run our servers for the year by 1 January 2011. It's an ambitious goal, but one we feel this great community can rise up to meet.

I haven't played it yet, but what do you guys think of it?

Right now it is set as the first map in the rotation and once more in the middle. I was going to leave it like this for the weekend so everyone gets a chance to play it, but if you feel once is enough I'll remove one of them.

White Pass Rush -

IMO this is a horrible Rush map, and about the only map I would consider just flat-out removing from the weekly Rush rotation.
